CoeBotics to represent WA State in North American FLL Championships in Legoland California. On Saturday May 21st and Sunday May 22nd, the CoeBotics team will represent the larger WA State FLL community at the North American Championships. A team of eight fourth and fifth grade Coe Elementary kids, accompanied by their coach, as well as the school principal Tate Loftin and various roadies/hangers-on (a.k.a parents), will travel to Carlsbad, California in May to compete in the FLL (First Lego League) national competition at Legoland. The Coe team will strut their robotic stuff as the sole representatives from Washington state at this competition.
CoeBotics Team participates in Kent School District TechExpo. On Thursday February 3rd 2011, a number of CoeBotics students at the invitation of Boeing, went to the kent ShowExpo to demonstrate LEGO robotics as part of the annual Kent School District TechExpo. We demonstrated both our WeDo soccer game skills and our Robots used during the 2010 Body Forward FLL competition.

Dozens do the robot at Coe Competition among humans a blast. After months of practice and preparation, the CoeBotics team of Coe Elementary School hosted a practice tournament Nov. 20 in which 25 teams from the greater Seattle area demonstrated and tested their robot skills.
